On their self-produced debut, Seattle’s Fey Ray wave a mixture of stunning harmonies, personal space and driving guitar over stories of love and confidence both acquired and lost. “I Wanna Be New & Perfect” explores a world where melody exists in these politics of day explores a world where melody exists in these politics of day to day life. Fey Ray formed as a trio in the fall of 2001. A handful of fresh songs burning a hole in his pocket, Matt Duss enlisted long time friend and band mate Stacey Lester then invited multi-talented Seth Howard (Stone Throwers / SIL2K improv ensemble) in on drums. The trio spent the next several months working the material and testing local waters. Fey Ray was complete upon the addition of Sean Uberoi Kelly. Sean has worked on many projects from engineering to performing, including song writing credits on pop princess Poe’s “Hello”.(Original Release Date 02-24-2004). |
