South Broadway Blues was The BUBG’s first recording. It was released only a year after the band started playing. SBB is a peek into the first few years of The BUBG, when they played every night, got paid in booze and had a great time just picking up their instruments (actually nothing much as changed).
In true BUBG style, there are several special guests on this album: Matt Murdick (piano), Brian Curran (guitar), Sharon Foehner (bass), Irene Allen (vocals) and Eric McSpadden (harmonica). Check out the last song on the CD, Who Do You Love, featuring all of these musicians on one tune! |
